The sixth annual Annie Haslam Candlelight Christmas Concerts were held at the Upper Tinicum Lutheran Church in Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania, USA, on the weekend of December 16-17, 2000. Jerry & Eileen McCarthy comprised the On-Reflection contingent. Unfortunately, no other O-R members made it down ... guess the weather was too good this year or something - not challenging enough for a Pennsylvania winter! :-)
There was no opening act. John Rittweger on keyboards joined Annie and long-time bandmates Rave Tesar (keyboards) & Joe Goldberger (percussion) for a set as a quartet. Annie had released her new Christmas album, entitled It Snows In Heaven Too, in time for the holiday season and it was available for purchase. The title track was played twice during the evening, showing up as the encore as well as in the main set. Though a "solo" Haslam release, the new album features Tesar extensively as performer, arranger, producer, and composer.
As was the case in past years, the Saturday night show was a good place to be for doing some "Prog Celebrity Watching" ... Larry Fast of Synergy® fame took in the show from the choir loft!
